Another Extra Lovely Sunday Ride

What better to do on a sunny, 85 degree Sunday afternoon than go for a Lovely Sunday Ride!

We cruised around Wash Park.

And brunched at La Belle Rosette in Wash Park West.  They have the cutest little courtyard in back which you get to by going out the front door, down up the block a tad, down a passageway and through a gate.  When you walk into the courtyard you feel like you've discovered a very special secret!  The food and Italian sodas were wonderful!

A special little call out to the loveliest homebirth midwife ever - the magical Sena! She sat(?) by me as I birthed my two babies into this world nine and then five years ago. 

 I love every opportunity I get to hang with you and the kids are totally jealous!!

A Lovely SATURDAY Ride - Paris Street Market

Date: Saturday, July 3, 2010
Time: 9:00am
Location: Confluence Park via Platte River Trail to the Paris Street Market at Aspen Grove

We'll meet at the REI Flagship store and ride the Platte trail to A Paris Street Market at Aspen Grove in Litttleon. The ride is apx 13 miles one way and is a very easy ride. It should take about a hour to ride there, we'll spend an hour plus browsing and snacking before heading back.

 

Critical Lass - Edmonton

While it was rainy and cold here in Denver it was a perfect day for biking in Edmonton, Alberta!

June 13 Ride Update

The forecast is looking rather gloomy: Tomorrow is going to cloudy with showers. By the afternoon some of the rain could leave the Metro area. Morning lows are forecast to be 44 to 49 degrees, afternoon highs are forecast to be 55 to 60 degrees.  For now the ride is still on but please check back in the morning.  I'll make a call by 9am. 

If the ride is canceled, the next ride will be in two weeks on June 27.

Sunday's Outlook

The forecast is calling for cooler (60's) and cloudy with occassional showers.   As long as it's not pouring, we're riding!  And La Belle Rosette has a wonderful sounding menu full of yummy warm coffees, teas, breakfast and sandwiches.
