What better to do on a sunny, 85 degree Sunday afternoon than go for a Lovely Sunday Ride!
We cruised around Wash Park.
And brunched at La Belle Rosette in Wash Park West. They have the cutest little courtyard in back which you get to by going out the front door, down up the block a tad, down a passageway and through a gate. When you walk into the courtyard you feel like you've discovered a very special secret! The food and Italian sodas were wonderful!
A special little call out to the loveliest homebirth midwife ever - the magical Sena! She sat(?) by me as I birthed my two babies into this world nine and then five years ago.
I love every opportunity I get to hang with you and the kids are totally jealous!!
Ladies! Two Sunday's a month we'll leave the stresses of the world behind and take a Lovely Sunday Ride. We'll explore a different Denver neighborhood each week with a leisurely bike ride which begins in one of our remarkable city parks and ends at a coffeeshop, tea shop, bakery, ice cream shop, cocktail shop, etc.
This is a come as you are ride, unless you're wearing a full spandex bike gear kit - in that case, go home and change. All you need is a bicycle and a lovely attitude! The routes will not necesarily be kid-friendly so I'd suggest you take this as an opportunity to take a break from the day-to-day and enjoy a grown-up afternoon out. All you need is a bicycle and a lovely attitude!
Visit our website and Facebook group as they're the source for info and updates on the ride. A week prior, I'll post route details. If you have suggestions on where to start, where to ride and where to end, send them my way!
This is an opportunity to slow down and just enjoy the simple pleasure of a bike ride with some gals and feel lovely!
